Meet Bryanna Smith,
Senior Advisor, First Nations Community Development & Social Policy
Bryanna is a Noongar woman from the south-west region of Western Australia with a background in law and strategic policy.
Bryanna is deeply commited to self-determination and empowerment for First Nations people.
She joins Equity Economics from the Coalition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peak Organisations. Bryanna is skilled at engagement with First Nations organisations and while at the Coalition of Peaks led the development of a new partnership between government and First Nations community-controlled representatives in economic participation and development.
Prior to working for the Coalition of Peaks, she worked in senior government roles and ministerial offices at the Commonwealth and state level.
Bryanna holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Australia, a Graduate Certificate in Public Administration from the University of Canberra and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Australian National University.
